Human Centric Design is about the , Ergonomics & user Age criteria, Mental and emotional aspects considerations. Some design considerations a Home Interior Designers should follow.
Any Furniture or a product which will be used in the interior should be designed considering ergonomics. The furniture should not have sharp edges and corners . Heights of the furniture like the table tops ,sofa ,kitchen counter tops etc should be as per the end user body proportions and not as per the standards .
Door Handles and knobs used for the doors shutters, drawers etc should be comfortable to use. Chairs and sofa backrest should be curved to make the sitting position comfortable.
Use of Colours and textures in the interior play an important role. Study has proved that the Human brain responds to Each colour differently.
