3. Body Height of the end user.

Different Methods /Options to opt, while getting an Interior Project done.

The Client can choose from the broadly classified, three different Options to choose from before going ahead for Appointing an Interior Designer in pune.

Option-1. Interior Design Consultancy.

Option -2. Turnkey Interior Design.

Option -3. Design & Build.

Option -1. (Interior Design Consultancy.)

In this option, following services are offered by the Interior designer.

  • Design working Drawings, which include furniture layout, false ceiling Layout, lighting Layout, electrical layout etc. Individual Room Details showing all four Elevations of walls along with working drawings of Details.
  • Interior Designer selects all the necessary material required for interior as per the theme visualized.
  • A Rough Estimate, based on the Final Layout is provided by the Interior Designer, to give a fair idea to the client & understand the Budget of the Project.
  • In this option, all the Material is purchased by the Client.
  • Designer Advises the Client to appoint necessary Agencies /vendors/contractors /Suppliers etc for the Project.
  • Interior Designer can provide 3D views to the Client for visualization, on clients demand at Extra Cost.
  • Designer /assistant, Visits the site appx once every week to see if the Execution is being carried out as per drawings. It’s not the designer’s responsibility to supervise the site on daily basis, while the client has to appoint a supervisor to supervise the site daily and make sure the material is supplied to the agencies without delay.
  • Clients should note that Interior Designer is responsible only for Design and not for Execution of the Project. In this Option of Interior Design Consultancy An Interior Designer is not Responsible for the Quality of Workmanship, Project cost, project Execution Time Period etc..
  • The Advantage for the Client in this option is he/she can purchase the Quality of material as per their budget from their own suppliers. The client can decide to make minor changes in design and has the Freedom over budget since there is no contract for Execution.

Option-2 (Turnkey Interior)

In this option, following services are offered by the Interior designer.

  • Design working Drawings, which include furniture layout, false ceiling Layout, lighting Layout, electrical layout etc. Individual Room Details showing all four Elevations of walls along with working drawings of Details.
  • Designer selects all the necessary material required for interior as per the theme visualized.
  • A BOQ/ Estimate, based on the Final Layout are provided by the Designer, to give a fair idea to the client & understand the Budget of the Project.
  • A contract is signed mutually by client and Interior Designer to execute the work based on Final Sign off Designs and BOQ (Costing)
  • In this option, all the Material is purchased by the Interior Designer.
  • Interior Designer appoints necessary Agencies /vendors/contractors /Suppliers etc necessary for the Project.
  • Interior Designer can provide 3D views to the Client for visualization, on clients demand at Extra Cost.
  • Interior Designer /assistant/supervisor, Visits the site as necessary, to see if the Execution is being carried out as per drawings and supervise the work.
  • In this Option the Interior Designer is responsible, for Design and for Execution of the Project. In this Option of Turnkey Interior Design the Interior Designer is also responsible for the Quality of Workmanship, Project cost & project Execution Time Period.
  • The Advantage for the client in this option is that he/she, does not need to spare dedicated time out from their routine job, since all the things right from Design to Execution till the handover of Keys will be Interior Designers Responsibility.
  • The Disadvantage for Client in this option is there cannot be changes Later in Design during Execution since doing so will add up to Extra cost of Design & Execution.

 Option-3(Design & Build)

In this option, following services are offered by the Interior designers in Pune.

  • Design working Drawings, which include furniture layout, false ceiling Layout, lighting Layout, electrical layout etc. Individual Room Details showing all four Elevations of walls along with working drawings of Details.
  • Designer selects all the necessary material required for interior as per the theme visualized.
  • A BOQ, based on the Final Layout are provided by the Designer, to give a fair idea to the client & understand the Budget of the Project.
  • A contract is signed mutually by client and Interior Designer to execute the work based on Final Sign off Designs and BOQ (Costing)
  • In this option, all the Material is ordered by the Interior Designer on Clients Name from Clients Suppliers where by the Payment is to be made by Client Directly to supplier.
  • Interior Designer appoints necessary Agencies /vendors/contractors /Suppliers etc necessary for the Project ,whose Payment is done by client.
  • Interior Designer can provide 3D views to the Client for visualization, on clients demand at Extra Cost.
  • Interior Designer /assistant/supervisor, Visits the site as necessary, to see if the Execution is being carried out as per drawings and supervise the work.
  • In this Option the Interior Designer is responsible, for Design and for Execution of the Project. In this Option of Design & Build, the Interior Designer is also responsible for the Quality of Workmanship, Project cost & project Execution Time Period.
  • The Advantage to client in this option is he can be Assured of Quality of material used since all the suppliers are appointed by the client. He doesn’t have to spend time on keeping a watch on quality of design, workmanship, track costing etc.
